How do I know if my loved one needs homemaking support?
Signs to watch for include unopened mail piling up, less tidy surroundings than usual, skipped meals, missed appointments, or your loved one seeming overwhelmed by everyday tasks. If you're noticing any of these, a conversation about support is worth having. We're happy to chat through your specific situation with no pressure.
Are your helpers the same ones every visit?
Yes — consistency is one of our core promises. We match each client with a dedicated helper who visits them every time. Familiar faces build trust, especially for seniors, and it means your loved one isn't adjusting to a new person every week.
Are helpers background checked and insured?
Every helper is background checked, personally interviewed, and reference verified before they set foot in a client's home. Our business is fully insured and bonded, so you have complete peace of mind.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Mississauga and serve families across the Greater Toronto Area — including Oakville, Brampton, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, and surrounding communities. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call and we'll let you know.
Can the schedule be flexible?
Absolutely. We have a 3-hour minimum per visit, but within that we're flexible on days, times, and what's done each visit. Your loved one's needs aren't static, and neither is our service. Need to adjust the schedule? Just let us know.
How do you keep families informed?
We send regular family updates after visits — letting you know how your loved one is doing, what was accomplished, and anything notable. You can reach out anytime for questions, and we're proactive about flagging anything important.
What's the difference between homemaking and home healthcare?
Homemaking covers the practical side of daily life — cleaning, cooking, errands, companionship. Home healthcare involves medical care like nursing or wound care. We focus exclusively on homemaking support. If your loved one needs medical care, we can point you to trusted healthcare partners.
How do I get started?
The first step is a free consultation — a relaxed conversation where we learn about your loved one's needs and answer any questions. No pressure, no commitments. Just call us or book online and we'll take it from there.
How does billing work?
Monthly packages are billed at the start of each month. Hourly bookings are invoiced after each visit. We accept credit card and e-transfer. First invoice is paid before service begins, and you'll always know exactly what you're paying before we start.
What is your cancellation and missed visit policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged at 50% of the visit rate. If your helper is ever unavailable due to illness or an emergency, we will notify you as early as possible and schedule a makeup visit at no extra charge within the same billing month.
Who pays for groceries and other purchased items?
All groceries, household supplies, and any items purchased on behalf of your loved one are paid for by the client — not included in your package price. Your helper will keep all receipts and provide them after every shopping trip. A petty cash float or a dedicated payment method for the helper to use is recommended for convenience.
What if my loved one's home is larger than average?
Our standard packages are designed for homes up to 1,500 sq ft (Essentials), 2,000 sq ft (Standard), and 2,500 sq ft (Comprehensive). For larger homes, the same tasks simply take more time. We'll assess the home during your free consultation and recommend a custom plan that fits both your needs and your budget.
